At Kazakhmys, our vision is clear: to be the leading natural resources company in Central Asia. Achieving this means always striving for the highest standards, delivering value for shareholders, and doing our best for our employees, communities and the environment. Our strategy encompasses three main areas:
Optimising our existing assets
Our optimisation programme involves developing management tools that improve the performance and efficiency of all our assets and operations. This will result in reduced costs, increased yields, more shareholder value and improved productivity.
Delivering growth projects
We aim to increase our production by over 50% in the next 5 to 10 years. This involves replacing and extending existing reserves and investing in projects including our mines in Bozshakol and Aktogay.
Acquiring natural resources
We are actively seeking to acquire attractive undeveloped natural resources, principally in Central Asia. We will achieve this through exploration and by acquiring known assets.
